i run uber geek aviation planes built for speed and power they can take off in less than 3 feet!!! the main reason is i can fly anytime with no worry about the wind or weather. we fly in snow rain...

ive tried the elevator flaps mod it was not what i expected it made it harder to fly
ive bought several planes from uber geek aviation
and the mods they make are incredible and they all fly...

ive used my cub with a 480 eflite to tow a large glider it had more than enough power i ran wire from motor mount to the tail to take strain off of foam it worked great

tried floats nosed over three times working on balance points
the stock motor on my buddies cub kept cutting out found out it was metal pin in battery connector was moving out of the holder it...

im running a 2200 lipo i cut out back of battery box and place battery in box as normal a little razor knifing of the foam is required
i can run the 480 brushless at half throtle for 43 mins ...

i installed aluminum strut tube from hobbie shop plastic stock straps streched way to much under wing load
plastic tape is always a good idea but may not be enough tape should be applied to bottom...

the float mounts are rubber banded to the wing posts takes load off of foam the front mount fits the wheel mount the front will be rubber banded to front wing posts also from small d rings brazed to...

the ailerons looked neat but made the plane harder to fly
i took a spray can lid from pam food spray placed a round piece of micro plywood inside with stab nuts in it
bolted thru the top of lid...

great minds think alike i've built the uber cub 480 eflite out runner 2100 lipo up to an 11/6 prop
ive done amazing things with this plane the latest was a glider towing rig videos to follow

i got one compared to the cub it was a major let down other threads say you should wrap it with packaging tape to make it stronger that may have helped by another cub and cut ailerons into the wing

i ordered it wrecked it replaced all radio and drivetrian
outrunner lipos plane flew unstable at best will be stipping good parts plane will never waste my time...
