Oz, I can do either. I had thought about airbrushing the standard dark yellow and then going over it with a thinned-out white. I will be using Tamiya acrylics.

Any tips?

While I am no veteran to r/c tanks, I do own the Tamiya Leo. The suggested radio for Tamiya tanks is the Futaba. I think that the tanks sold in Japan even come with the radio in the kit.

Everything else does work as expected. The recoil issue is minor, in my opinion, but for the bucks I shelled out for this thing, I would expect it to be pretty close to perfect as far as Tamiya's...
