RE: Cheap to fix, durable, fun basher?

they're basically the same truck, but the ruckus will be able to run in more places with its larger tires and bigger ground clearance

it's surprising how small ruts and rocks can be that will...

RE: Cheap to fix, durable, fun basher?

the ruckus has better ground clearance than other options in the price range, that's a good thing

RE: Will i make my money back out of it?

I would think you either have to sell as a roller or RTR

without an ESC you may as well toss the motor in the garbage bin too (because a smart buyer will know if you fried your ESC, your motor...

RE: Motor for Electric Bicycle

just get a good road bike, it's not that hard to ride 20mph without a motor if you're in decent shape

RE: To Stampede or not to Stampede, that is the question.

but wouldn't you have more control in training mode?

I mean, who cares about speed right?

the same reason you prefer full speed over training mode, that's why a faster RC is more fun.

RE: To Stampede or not to Stampede, that is the question.

so do you prefer your bandit in training mode or regular mode?

being 2wd, I'd think training mode (50% power) would be more controllable

RE: To Stampede or not to Stampede, that is the question.

RE: Traxxas Bandit

when you switch it, you're moving the trigger

you either need to leave it, or re-trim the channel, or re calibrate the ESC if you want to run 70/30

RE: rebuildable brushed motors?

define good

but the answer is likely no, when you can get a new brushed motor for $20 or a brushless motor for not much more than that.. there's not much reason to get a serviceable motor
