TNX 3.0...opinion after 3 months bashing!

Just wanted to share with you my thoughts on my TNX 3.0 after 3 months of desert bashing. I live in Dubai so I basically do all my bashing on sand dunes etc, great fun - the sand gets everywhere...

I have a TNX 3.0, and have the Tamiya gold alloy shocks with the blue springs (if that means anything!). I have them filled with Tamiya 'medium' (can't remember which colour) shock oil, and the discs...

Yeah, saw that part on Tower....the same part kit is listed under the 5.2 so I'm guessing they are the same. Would the different shock mounting positions on the lower arms in this kit allow me to get...

Jumping - how to land correctly?

This may be a silly question.....but waht is the correct way to land a jump? Is it all 4 wheels at the same time, rears followed by fronts, or fronts just before rears....?

Thanks! It may be a little 'old school' now, but it's still a great truck. I finally removed the primer after having a couple of bad rolls (well, landing upside down really!) that broke it clean off...

Thanks guys - gave it a run this morning and leaned it out (quite a bit) and it now runs spot on....still plenty of smoke from exhaust so not too lean either. Happy New Year!

Just removed the end of my pipe on my TNX (I noticed a lot of gunge was gathering at the end where it shouldn't normally and found that there is a crack in the end piece....warranty job hopefully...

Mmm - I had to replace my glow plug yesterday as it had burned out. I seem to get a bog sometimes although it reset to the factory needle setting and there is plenty of smoke from the exhaust, so...

I fit a good sealing screw but the fuel starvation persists....turns out the primer cylinder is stick in the fully down position, which I think means that the exit from the fuel tank to the fuel line...

Thanks for the tips...so an air leak would definitely cause running problems? Defo need some tougher shocks too...still not sure what to get for a reasonable price.....what do you think of getting...

OK - can someone tell me which shocks can fit the TNX? I see loads of places selling for T-Max, Traxxas, Hotbodies, Associated etc - are these all compatible with the TNX?
