what do you mean by " heat racing " ? if you mean going round and roung the bouys on a puddle then the pacer 70 is not the hull to have ( the 60 maybe )

if you mean offshore racing...

stepped hull will and do work , better in the larger sizes imo

ran the pacer 75 proto a while back and will be doing some more work on the stepped hull over the winter [8D][8D]

in an ideal world you should pull the rudder to make the right turn , but if you cant turn either way it sounds like the servo / power set up

do you have a larger battery ? say...

a couple of other thing to look at , veiwed fron the rear with your rudder on the right , to make a right hand turn are you pulling the rudder arm or pushing it ?

exhaust is ok set at 330 mm , see how you get on

the s/s tube is fine , no need to put a girly teflon liner in it [>:][>:]...

the pacer 70 is

1650 ( 1760 with the over hang ) by 390 wide and has a height of 120 onthe sides and a deadrise height of 75 ( all in mm ) [8D][8D]
