RE: Extreme Flight 88" Yak - Build and Fly

Understood, but I disagree WRT weight , 6oz is a lot of weight... make it up elsewhere? - like single servos in the wings of a 104" bird (you'll need to remove original hard wood of inner/outer...

RE: Extreme Flight 88" Yak - Build and Fly

Personally, I would run just one 2S1P a123 cell in that bird, unregulated of course, switched to the DSS RX... So you want to do two batts and both switched to your (DSS?) RX? Of course if the one...

RE: Extreme Flight 88" Yak - Build and Fly

Sorry - I wasn't clear - I personally do not run dual 2S1P a123 cells with a PE - I run a single 2S1P a123 cell through a switch (obviously) to the DSS RX... Some guys insist on dual bats so the PE...

RE: Extreme Flight 88" Yak - Build and Fly

RE: Extreme Flight 88" Yak - Build and Fly

Alo if you're a little tail heavy, she will nose up in those last few feet - try keeping speed up a tad with a smidge of down elevator just as it wants to flare.

RE: Extreme Flight 88" Yak - Build and Fly

The most straightforward setup is (and I run this in 35% kits) is a single 2s1p a123 UNREGULATED (straight to the DSS RX) which provides 6.6 nominal and 2300AH of capacity (the larger digi servos...

RE: Hamburg Pa Giant Scale Event August 24 - 26, 1800' runway

Great event - I met lots of great folks - In spite of the typical August heat in PA, it was a very cool event. Thanks to all the effort from Farview and TCWS.

RE: Ultra R/C Giles 202 UL 29%

Have you flown it w/the wing all the way back to move the center of...

RE: mvvs 1.60 gasser carb #'s

RE: mvvs 1.60 gasser carb #'s

RE: mvvs 1.60 gasser carb #'s

What are the...
