RE: axe cp thread

I've been having this problem for a little while now and don't know the cause. When I lift up and try to hover (about 5ft), the axe doesn't hold it's altitude very well. It will move up and down...

RE: flyzone diablo

Cloud-base,

When I was putting the electronics back in the jet tonight I noticed the ESC was in a sealed bag- it made me wonder if they sent back the same one or a new one. It wouldn't be too...

RE: flyzone diablo

I just got my TX,RX, and ESC back and hobby services says they all checked out fine which is disappointing. I'm real anxious to get this back together and see how a trip through the postal system...

RE: flyzone diablo

niceschott,

Do you think you can get away with the P-51 as a first time plane? I can hover an axe-cp allright and I think I'm capable of taking it slow to start. How does it handle light winds?

RE: axe cp thread

Funny you mention that, something similar happened to me last time I flew (that's not normal). I was in a different building for the first time. I'm thinking it could be caused by some interference...

RE: flyzone diablo

I'm in the same boat as cloud-base. I've experienced a lot of servo chatter from no more than 30 feet, and both attempted flights ended because my EDF cut out after about 4 seconds. It's a toss up...

RE: Anyone have the new Hobbico Diablo?

I'll be getting one soon and hopefully the shorter wing won't take too long to ship. Let us know how the repleacement goes.

RE: Anyone have the new Hobbico Diablo?

Do think your wing failure is an isolated case or does it look like it'll be a common weakness- did you get any pictures before you shipped it off?

RE: BCX Servo Travel - how many degrees?

I'm getting around 38deg. which seems okay. I moved out one hole on the servo horn, and it's a little better.

Has anyone ever eyeballed their servo travel?

BCX Servo Travel - how many degrees?

Could someone tell me the size of the arc that their BCX servos sweep out?

My Blade CX is still barely responding to cyclic input. I've replaced the left motor, checked all linkages & pushrods,...

RE: Proper linkage setup on blade CX?

I've been having trouble with poor control with my bcx. I've thought about moving the servo horns but I want to be able to get it back to it's normal abilities before playing with the servo horns. ...

RE: No steering control on BCX

My flybar is connected. I'm going to try and change the left motor to see if that works. If it's not that, I don't know what else it could be other than the 4in1. Has anyone else ever had weak...

RE: No steering control on BCX

Thanks. As soon as I turn it on and spin up it just hovers, so I don't think its overheating (though I realize the mods will help otherwise). I've trimmed it so it stays pretty stationary. But it...

RE: No steering control on BCX

Thanks for your replies.

Soloboss, I used your method for checking the speeds and they actually seemed to be about the same, so I was wrong about the lower rotor spinning up more slowly.

No steering control on BCX

Hi all-

I'm the third owner of my BCX. After a few crashes, it barely responds to inputs for forward and lateral movement. The swash plate separated, but I glued it back together correctly. ...
