RE: "How Fast" Airspeed Instrument

No - not to cut the tubes, but I would guess that as long as you keep them in clean air, the length of the tubes can be adjusted. I would email Winged Shadow Systems on this question.

"How Fast" Airspeed Instrument

I'm sure you have all heard someone assert that his plane does 50, 60, 70 or more mph. When pressed on how this speed was measured, you'll usually get answers that indicate a LOT of windage. If only...

RE: is this a good somewhat beginner plane?

The single most common problem beginners have is choosing the first plane - warbirds are terrible first planes because they are tough to fly, are not at all forgiving and fly fast due to high wing...

Here are some thoughts on Beginner Plane Characteristics here:

The only person who benefits from selling a warbird to a beginner is the person who sold it to you.

RE: New moter is bad? HELP!!!

Sounds like something is binding in the motor - possible a mounting screw is impacting the rotor? Does the drum freely rotate by hand?

RE: Show us your scratch built foamys

Here's one I started to build as a small plane, than thought I'd like it bigger so I added another body to it - it's kind of a "work in process". Not quite sure what to call it - biplane? Bibody?...

Lightflite Bug Review

This can be set up to do it all - slow, fast, 3D etc, and very very tough.

RE: "BeeGee" EPP Foam Build

Thanks - once you start working with EPP, you appreciate how durable it is - a shock-absorbing foam is incredibly suited for RC planes.

RE: Official Hobby Zone "Super Cub" Thread

Understand - but it seems to me that the Stryker is very slippery - little wind resistance - and the Super Cub is not so slippery - a LOT more drag. I think you need more torque to move the SC around...

RE: Official Hobby Zone "Super Cub" Thread

From what I can see on the Stryker's specs, the motor looks like a brushless in-runner direct drive - lots of rpms, not so much torque. I could be wrong but looks like a mis-match - I don't think you...
