You can use a 9 or 10 inch prop with the himax motor by changing the gear ratio of the gearbox. Gearbox drives do not require longer props and AXI motors do not necessarily have more power on shorter...

I don't think you will find one. The smallest ratio I am aware of in an inline/planetary configuration is 3.3:1. This is a minimum due to gear and unit size. Add a cell.

That's not entirely true. A larger prop is more efficient than a smaller prop. Additionally, you will get better vertical/climb out of a larger prop spinning slower than a smaller prop spinning fast....
