I think you're missing the point. I'm pretty sure everyone would agree that the 8ights are great cars, but the stuff I've had from losi was trash(micro-t and xxx-t). A good company makes quality rc's...

Because nitro is a more immersive experiance. It's soooooo much more fun to drive than electric. Plus you get the ooh-aah from the crowd. It's hard to understand unless you're a nitro guy. ;)

I've owned a sand viper, it was my second rc car.

It's a great basher, very durable, and handles reasonably well, it would not be a bad choice for a first rc. My only issue with it was parts...

Crap!!!!!!!!! I just ordered an rc8 rs only because they didn't have a rtr version of the rc8t.[&o]
Looks sweet though, guess I'll just have to wait awhile and then race both buggy and truggy![8D]...
