RE: Tamiya TB-01 Resource Thread!

Hooray, my ebay open box Evo VII showed up today. Its been a while since I've built a Tamiya kit, I can't wait to get started.

RE: Tamiya TB-01 Resource Thread!

I'll let you guys know if I can get copies of the dust cover made. I'm actually thinking of making a plaster mold and trying to do some real thin fiberglass covers.

RE: Tamiya TB-01 Resource Thread!

I initially ordered 2 of the dust covers so that I would have a spare, but I actually won the auction that you posted above so the spare will now have a chassis to sit on. Looks like we'll both be...

RE: Tamiya TB-01 Resource Thread!

Actually it looks like only asiatees has any aluminum bits in stock. I know I saw some elsewhere though.

RE: Tamiya TB-01 Resource Thread!

I doubt that the tb-02 stuff will go on the tb-01. I have both and they are very different. Aluminum bits for the tb-01 are still available, but the long suspension arm kits are rare and very...

RE: Tamiya TB-01 Resource Thread!

The part # for the TB-01 dust cover is 1835088. It was listed as in stock on the Tamiya USA site for $11.50 last night so I ordered 2 of them. Now the site has them listed as temporarily out of...

RE: DF-03Ra Dust Cover?

The '94 Lancer kit comes with a Dark Impact body to use as a dust cover. I believe that is the only one though. Look at the descriptions on Tower, they usually tell what comes in the box. Rcmart...

RE: How many of you are actually getting the mini revo or slash?

I'm definitely looking forward to these minis. I'll likely be getting the Slash. They need to come out already though. I've got tax return money burning a hole in my pocket and I don't know how...

I use the Equinox balancer with my 977 pro and it works just fine.

RE: a real look of the sc10 inside and out

$190 for a 2WD kit that uses RTR parts is a bit much if you ask me.

RE: Slash must-haves / Advice

MaxxAmps seems completely out of touch with their pricing. $355 for a charger and 1 battery is insane, I don't care how good of a charger or battery it is. I've never used their Lipos (or any Lipos...

RE: Slash must-haves / Advice

If you are just running stock, you might want to keep an extra set of steering knuckles and rear hub carriers on hand. If you don't stay stock, get the RPM arms front and rear (the stock arms bind...

RE: Can I still trade up the 969?

I was wondering this same thing. I will probably buy a 977 anyways, but it would be nice to have my 969 upgraded.
