RE: CVD's won't reach after Vendetta PBS Conversion

That worked, I screwed in the bottom ball until it stopped. So I take it you use the upper ball to adjust camber?

Thanks!

CVD's won't reach after Vendetta PBS Conversion

I just installed the PBS conversion on my buggy and now the CVD's don't reach, is there a way to adjust them?

RE: Duratrax Vendetta BL install

One last thing, after notching the chassis it fits fine but did you also notch the cover? The only way it seems that it will go on is if I drill a hole straight through, but that might let dirt in.

RE: Duratrax Vendetta BL install

Did you use the 19t insert? There seems to be alot more drivetrain noise when I roll it around the floor.

RE: Duratrax Vendetta BL install

I took the motor apart and noticed a shim in the back, I moved it to the front and reassembled it. I can't really tell if this helps or not since I can't get the motor on the motor mount.

I'm having trouble installing an Ammo 28-35-3900kv motor in my vendetta buggy. Do I need a custom motor mount to fit this? The screws are too big and even if I drill out the holes the bottom one just...

RE: Engine for an Ultra MBX Pro

How do you know when they actually go bad? Do they start to slip a bit or just not engage at all? Oh, and feel free to throw in any break-in tips out there if you have any.

RE: Engine for an Ultra MBX Pro

And a 15$ mistake, integy clutch set is useless, the flywheel rubs against the engine. Found a little bit of money and I'm gonna go to the LHS to get some real gear.

RE: Engine for an Ultra MBX Pro

Or better yet, will the flywheel/brass collet of that be any good? Because a flywheel/collet from ofna costs more then the entire integy set. I could always dump the clutch shoes/springs and only...

RE: Engine for an Ultra MBX Pro

What difference in speed should I expect? If it's something small like 5mph I'd might as well go for the extra torque.

Also some have a purple or gray head (7port?), the one I'm planning on...

Engine for an Ultra MBX Pro

Which engine would work better in this buggy? A Force 28 or Hyper 21? The stock engine is a Force 26. I don't know if gear ratios are important, but it has a 51t Spur gear, same one used in the LX...

RE: Newbie help, OFNA Ultra MBX Pro

I've found a great deal on an Ofna force .28, I think it is the one used on the Ultra LX One. How will it do in this buggy and how does it compare to the stock force .26?
