I have been using 2S LiFe for a few months now. No problem at all. It drives retracts thru a 3A UBEC and NOT directly as retracts can jam up and pull the battery down. The worst case I had before...

Very strange. In my message a few post back, I meant to ask Mike if he could get the "BackSpace" key included on the keypad... It appears that the word "backspace" will not be displayed if enclosed...

Mike,

One little change you might consider, but not critical, is the inclusion of the "Backspace" key on the touch keypad. This will make the editing of the model names etc easier.

I thought that was a built-in function??? If you just touch and hold the model icon for 2 seconds, the radio will go into throttle-lock mode?

Why not try the A123 cells, a 2S 1100mAH will most likely last for a whole day's flying. Unless you have many flights, in which case, recharging it in the field only takes, like...

But nothing for 2S A123 batts at 6.6V? I think A123 batts are quite common nowadays as they don't require regulators with most 6V capable servos. Will anything be done about that?

I think the difference between a 9ch amd a 12 ch is mainly in the firmware, when you take away the extra bling in the tx looks etc. The A9 has enough switches/dial/knobs to handle 12 ch easily. ...

Hitec is advertising in FlyRC, Model Airplane News etc that there is a package deal with tx and 7ch rx, plus 1 free 7-ch rx, plus another 7ch rx for USD39.99 extra. So far I cannot find any dealer...
