Eventually, I got my G20ei engine to run again. I have replaced the faulty Zenoah CDI module with the Rcexl without replacing the stock hall sensor and it worked.

Well, it works.

I tested the RCexl ignition module with the stock G20ei hall sensor without adjusting the timing angle, the engine ran normally and smooth as before. The battery was 4 cell x...

Thank you for the guidance.

I emailed RCexl and it was comfirmed. Just match up the colours, ie red to red, black to black and white to white.

Are you using the stock zenoah hall sensor, or I should say didnt you replace the sensor as well?

I think Id beter send it back for a replacement.

However, I wonder if I should send it to HC or return to the factory directly.

I believe it would take a much longer time to send to HC.

My xyz26cc vibrated too much on the test bench, so I have no guts to put it on an airframe to fly. It is now lying in the store collecting dust. Any idea what should I do about it?

Bench Test my XYZ 26cc that has been replaced with bent crankshaft and faulty CDI/hall sensor. The vibration seemed quite bad, not due to unbalance prop, of course.

Today, I received the replacement CDI along with its hall sensor from the XYZ engine manufacturer for my XYZ 26cc. I will set up the engine on the test bench and have a test run as soon as possible....

I bent mine upon crashing. The crankshaft seemed weak and could not withstand any direct impact due to crash.

I bought the parts and replaced it myself. It was not that difficult.
