Hmmmm, This makes me want to look into carbon fiber arrow shafts.
I would think the taper of the golf glub shafts would cause some amount of grief.

I'm not at all versed on Spektrum gear but it's my understanding that the frequency your flying at is propriatary, or the data being sent is proprietary to the RX.

Ditti the ceiling outlets with retractable extension cords. This is how I plug in my table saw in the center of the room. I can unplug when not in use and dont have to mess with floor outlets.
