RE: Piper Cub Question

I bought a piper cub and I think it was a .40 but they put a .60 in. for floats. How could I tell for sure? How would I tell if it was a goldberg, GP, or what? 40 or 60 sized? Thanks for any input....

So how did your plane fly? Looks like a nice plane. Did the chines work well? I did the same chines as acer did which are considerably bigger but his seemed to fly fine. Have you seen that thread?...

Can I achieve 3 degrees upthrust with washers under the front engine screws? I have already built the pylon and it would be a lot to change? What about putting on a t tail to give some more elevator...
