RE: R616FFM RX General Questions

I was thinking the same thing. No way am I going to go out and buy servos to fit these connectors, or buy adaptors either. Futaba may have made a mistake here IMHO.... (otherwise, a good looking...

As an owner of a Futaba FASST system I am interested in the new RX that Futaba has put out. BUT, I would like to know what differences there are in this new receiver over the say 607/617 besides...

RE: Press Release: OS Engines 56FS "a" Series 4 Stroke Engine

My public apologies for that one Ken, sorry....

I don't want to turn this into a Ford vs. Chevy discussion either. I am hoping to see people post who have actually used one, to see what they...

RE: Press Release: OS Engines 56FS "a" Series 4 Stroke Engine

Well, let's see... 28.5 grams (1 oz.), in a plane the size that an engine of this size would fly, no.... don't think it matters now does it??
Well, ugly?? I guess beauty is in the eyes of the...

RE: Press Release: OS Engines 56FS "a" Series 4 Stroke Engine

Well, wondered when they would anounce it... Check out my earlier thread here: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_5798973/tm.htm

BTW, didn't actually see this on their web site, but I'm sure...

RE: New OS FSa-56 4 stroke

Yes, you have seen it (the avatar that is) somewhere else. I'm not the original one to use it, but I can't remember on which forum (here or RCG's) that someone else is using the same one. Also, a...

RE: New OS FSa-56 4 stroke

Well, to each their own...LOL Ed, that's what makes the world go around. If we all liked the same things, what kind of hobby would this be anyway?? Kinda like Ford vs. Chevy, but OS just holds a...

New OS FSa-56 4 stroke

OK, second try with this... First had a direct link to EBAY which is a no-no. I apologize to all for violation. Anyway, came across a new OS over at EBAY that was a "buy Now" item. An OS FSa-56 4...

RE: OS engines forum

Well, this seems to be the place to post my appreciation of the great OS engines. My list of OS engines is as follows:

OS .10 FSR
OS .15
OS .25 FSR
OS .40 FSR x 3
OS .40 FS (not...

Charge/Discharge lead length

As a "new" flyer in the electric field (over 15 years in glow), and with the real concern for "safe" battery handling, what is the longest safe length to make your charge/discharge lines, and what...

RE: Hanger 9 F-22 Raptor PTS

Well statyed. Many things have changed (from when I learned back 25 years ago) and there are different methods of "teaching" and "learning", all of which need to fit the individual situation. I only...

RE: Hanger 9 F-22 Raptor PTS

I strongly suggest that this plane NOT be used for a beginner's 1st plane. Although it is a smooth flyer, with good characterisitics while flying, it requires a little to much speed on landing for a...

RE: Worth revising servos??

Yes, I wondered about that issue myself. And, I agree with you on this.... I would/will always be suspicious of these IF I do use any. IF I did, I'd use for a throttle or to drop something from A/C,...

RE: Does anyone else love Enya engines?

You could try here: http://www.stevewebb.co.uk/ He's in England. Of course, we have MRC over here. Webb seems to have more spare parts though, and probably has a direct line to the mfg.

Worth revising servos??

Have several old(er) Futaba servos, with the pin type connectors (were these called J connectors?). Numbers are: FP-16, FP-23, FP-26, and a few FP-S20s, which are small (micro?). Is it safe, and...

RE: Does anyone else love Enya engines?

Hopefully this is a good spot to post this. I've got an old Enya 46 4C mark II that I bought used from someone several years ago, and promptly put the box away never to even try and fix it. It was...
