The engine I have has a lot of power and is impressive in that respect. It is just the other problems that I have had that has really disappointed me with it. Global also makes a pitts style muffler...

There are several members at our field with giant stingers with g-62's and they have unlimited vertical.They swing the same props at the same rpm so why would they not have unlimited vertical.

Too much elevator.A cap will snap as you described and fall if you are applying too much elevator.Allow yourself plenty of recovery altitude and apply less elevator.

I agree with the post above,you would be much happier with a gas engine with a ignition system and it would be much cheaper to operate.
