I would sell it and buy a new truck. You will be better off having a fresh platform to handle the Monster ;). I think you would save money in parts.

I agree, the tranny gears are cheap to make metal. I would keep the spur as a plastic gear, but change it out to 32 pitch along with the pinion. It will still fail if hit hard enough, but it wont...

Did you make sure that you leveled your servos with the throttle stick at half throttle? If that is all good (with no curves set yet) then you can start messing with your curves and dial it in.

For a beginner, get the sport. It is cheaper when you crash ;).

For a more advanced pilot, get the Pro. The torque tube gets pricy every time you crash. :)

Make sure that your belt is twisted in the right direction. It should be a half a turn to the right if you are looking directly into the boom from the front of the heli. Also is your one way...

I usually go by feel and tighten the screws equally. The paper trick works good though. Also when you set your mesh, find the spot on the gear that binds the most when it rotates. Sometimes the gears...

Yea you can just take off the satalite. I mount my park flyer reciever on the bottom tray. I will post some pics up later for you if I get time.

The Zippy's and Turnigy's are about the same. I go with whatever seems to fit my needs when buying them. I take price, weight, and dimensions into consideration. I use the Zippy 30C packs for my 450...

I don't have a Pro. However I do have a T Rex 450se v2 and a EXI 450 carbon edition kit (the exact same as the v2 only a clone). I love how they both fly. However I don't see the advantage to buying...
