Typically when you over discharge any lithium based battery it is toast. You may be able to revive the battery if you charge it at a very slow rate.

Many LiPo's user store their batteries in their house. A lot of them also use LiPo Sacks to charge and store their LiPo's.

You should absolutely be able to use LiPo's for these applications, but you will need to pay attention to the low voltage cutoff (LVC) of the Speed Controller.

There is no simple answer. Mathematically it should double, but a 4200 pack will weigh more than the 2100 and therefore affect the motor output.

Something to consider is that not all LiPo chargers have balancers built in, meaning that you will have to buy a balancer also. We offer a Digital Balancing LiPo charger on our website.
