Needed: Edge 540 version #1 fusalage and cowl

Is there any possibility someone still happens to have a Edge 540 (version #1) fusalage and cowl they don't mind parting with?

Thanks

RE: 28% Extra 300 Rebuild, also in need of parts.

Things are progressing, completed the muffler tunnel lining it with 1/32" plywood to keep any future mice from potentially getting into the plane (along with a whole lot of mouse traps around my...

RE: 28% Extra 300 Rebuild, also in need of parts.

Sorry about the confusion Tom, I was replying to Mrbigg's post. He has a set of wheel fairings that I can use.

I'll definately be emailing you if I have any other needs.

Again, Thanks!

RE: 28% Extra 300 Rebuild, also in need of parts.

Again thanks Tom, everything in the picture below weighs in at 8.9 pounds leaving me with 2.1 pounds to finish the plane with which makes me feel a lot better.

Again, Thanks!

RE: 28% Extra 300 Rebuild, also in need of parts.

Most sincerely thank you Tom.

I'm trying so hard to keep the weight down with the repairs. I have a carbon fiber wing tube and replaced the elevator stab tube with carbon fiber. I'm also...

RE: 28% Extra 300 Rebuild, also in need of parts.

Repairs are progressing. Does anyone happen to know what the V2 Extra300 weighed by itself? I am meticulously trying to rebuild mine doing everything I can to keep the weight down but I don't have a...

28% Extra 300 Rebuild, also in need of parts.

Unbelievably this last spring when I pulled my Extra 300 (my absolute favorite airplane) out of mothballs for the summer flying season I discovered that a couple of mice had managed to infiltrate my...

RE: Official Nitro Evader ST Thread v2.0

The DTX .18 and the OS .15 CVX have virtually the same crankcase with different markings on them, the .15 will bolt right in and the flywheel and clutch should just bolt right on.

Newbie EDF Question...

Hi Everyone!

I'm new to foam EDF jets but I've seen a lot of the EDF fans that come with these jets fly apart, vibrate horribly due to being unbalanced, and have read countless reviews about...

RE: Official Nitro Evader ST Thread v2.0

The O.S. CV-X .15 has all the acceleration and top end that I like. Nothing stops my Evader, even tall grass. If you want to be popping wheelies and tearing up drive trains try a CV-RX .18 or adapt...

RE: Official Nitro Evader ST Thread v2.0

The stock DTX .18 motor is made by O.S. Engines. If you're just looking for a replacement motor you can either rebuild your original DTX .18 as the parts are still available or buy a new O.S. .15...

RE: Brison 3.2 smoke muffler?

Well I just went and looked at my existing muffler and noticed (for the first time) that there is a nipple already tapped and screwed into the muffler (plugged though) right in front of the exhaust...

RE: Brison 3.2 smoke muffler?

I was under the impression that smoke mufflers had to have a sort of coil in them to work right. Is there a special nipple or certain nipple size that must be used? Again, Thanks!

RE: Brison 3.2 smoke muffler?

I was looking at this muffler but I didn't see anything identifying it as a smoke muffler. Are all Bissons smoke mufflers? Thanks for the reply!

RE: Official Nitro Evader ST Thread v2.0

The only places I've seen recently would be on an Ebay roller. Sometimes you get lucky and It'll have the upgraded aluminum gears. Otherwise, one could buy the individual parts new from Tower Hobbies...

RE: Official Nitro Evader ST Thread v2.0

RE: Official Nitro Evader ST Thread v2.0

Hi Eclipso, It's next to impossible to find an original Evader body for the Nitro. However from what I've discovered with my son's Evader is that just about any NITRO 1/10 scale truck body will work...
