Get an old wire coat hangar and bend it to match the original. The wire bends instead of snapping.

fot the front yes you do...[&:]atleast just remove the bottom two screws of the shocks in order to get the axles to move back to allow the diff out.:)

yes they are easy to take out. 5 screws for the rear and 7 screws for the front because you have to remove the shocks.

RE: losi 420 series rims size

The diameter of the losi 420 rim is 4 inches. I cant get an accurate measurement for the width however since they have tires on them.

i guess now you have to take the rear diff out and inspect it, unless it has something to do with the axles (pins, cups ect) and check and make sure your wheels are not stripped where the hexs go.

and make sure the shoes go on in the right direction. also, after you use it for a while, pull the clutch bell off and spray brake cleaner on them and the cluch bell, but not the bearings

The wheels spinning the opposite ways is normal. The reason it may not be rolling freely are that your brakes may be engaged, or the gear mesh is to tight between you engine and transmission gears.

the return spring on these are not designed to pull the servo arm and thus close the carb, but only to close the carb if the servo arm pops off of the carb.

get the losi long wear aluminum clutch shoes, and every 1/4 gallon or so brake clean the clutch shoes and clutch bell and they will last a long time.

why do you have to buy a new clutch bell, if yours is fine dont bother buying a new one because thay are expencive. The bearings and spur gears shouldnt cost you alot...

I use the stock plastic aftershock shocks, with Associated 35wt shock oil (same wt as stock i belive) and the losi yellow springs. Works good for me.


EDIT: i use 35 wt oil not 20

LST2 shims?

Hey guys I am just wondering if you should run shims/ washers in behind where the wheel hexes go. When my wheels are on and tight they move side to side a little.
