thats what im confused with.

when im at the track they always have power available. wouldnt the power supply connect to a "wall" socket as well? not tryint to be sarcastic, trying to understand...

I noticed that there is a lot of black residue on the motor. Since this hasn't been used in over a year and maybe 5 gallons was put throuh this motor should I go ahead and rebuild it?

i talked to my LHS owner and asked him about the shim for running 30%, he said it is not a necessity to install the 30% shim as most guys at the track dont....is this true?

i just purchased this engine, and i have a quick question. its fully broken in now, when i hit a straihgt away, and let go of the throttle, i noticed, it takes a bit to idle down, is this normal?
