You know what though, I did remove it but it seems like the polished pipe doesn't reach the header pipe. There's about a half inch from the end of the header to the beginning of the exhaust pipe.

I'm having a brain fart and cant remember how to solve my problem. When I go Full Wide open throttle, my firestorm starts to bog and wants to die. Is it running too rich or too lean? Thanks.

Is the clutch bell spinning with the engine or not? If it is not, then something might be wrong with the clutch shoes.

Check the carb. How much is it open at idle? It should be around 1 mm. Try adjusting the idle screw.

As for the glow plug starter issue, you most likely have a bad glow plug. Just replace it. As for the rotostart not turning the engine over, try either cleaning the OWB in the backplate or actually...

The only thing that sucks about the firestorm at the moment is that it's hard as hell to get parts for it when it breaks. I've been waiting for over a month for my front bulkhead from Tower.

When you change back to factory settings, you're basically making it run rich. Factory settings are what you're supposed to start tuning from.

1st, HPI recommends between 20%-25% fuel. 2nd, try warming the engine up using a hairdryer or heatgun. I had to use my heat gun the first and second time I started my X. Hope this helps.

I've driven my firestorm farther than 100 yards away from me no problem. Something might be up with your receiver or your batteries are low.
