RE: Polished Pipe Install

You know what though, I did remove it but it seems like the polished pipe doesn't reach the header pipe. There's about a half inch from the end of the header to the beginning of the exhaust pipe.

Polished Pipe Install

Am I suppose to keep the little black plastic thing inside the coupler? I have a stock X 4.1. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

RE: What's the deal with Spektrum radios?

I'm a newb to RC. I use my DX3.0 on my firestorm and savage x. I love it. There is no glitching at all and I love the built in failsafe feature. I love it for the price and everything it came...

RE: -=OFFICIAL HPI FIRESTORM THREAD=-

I'm having a brain fart and cant remember how to solve my problem. When I go Full Wide open throttle, my firestorm starts to bog and wants to die. Is it running too rich or too lean? Thanks.

RE: Savage revs but doesnt move

Is the clutch bell spinning with the engine or not? If it is not, then something might be wrong with the clutch shoes.

RE: Problems starting my new Savage X

Check the carb. How much is it open at idle? It should be around 1 mm. Try adjusting the idle screw.

RE: HPI dual disc problem

Can you just replace the metal disk's with composite ones to get rid of the issue?

RE: I keep blowing glow plugs in warhead! why why why?

After you lean it out, make sure you adjust your idle screw to keep your carb open about 1mm.

RE: -=OFFICIAL HPI FIRESTORM THREAD=-

So I finally got my firestorm together last night since I finally received a front bulkhead from HPI. I haven't had a chance to run it yet but I'm anxious. I had to also replace the top deck since...

RE: Trouble starting savage

As for the glow plug starter issue, you most likely have a bad glow plug. Just replace it. As for the rotostart not turning the engine over, try either cleaning the OWB in the backplate or actually...

RE: HPI firestorm good for bashing?

The only thing that sucks about the firestorm at the moment is that it's hard as hell to get parts for it when it breaks. I've been waiting for over a month for my front bulkhead from Tower.

RE: rush evo keeps choking not running well

When you change back to factory settings, you're basically making it run rich. Factory settings are what you're supposed to start tuning from.

RE: new x 4.1 engine problems??

1st, HPI recommends between 20%-25% fuel. 2nd, try warming the engine up using a hairdryer or heatgun. I had to use my heat gun the first and second time I started my X. Hope this helps.

RE: More Problems

That sounds like the glow plug is loose. That, or the washer needs to be replaced.

RE: Spektrum issues

I've driven my firestorm farther than 100 yards away from me no problem. Something might be up with your receiver or your batteries are low.
