I would get rid of the bullet connectors and just direct solder the motor wires. Sounds to me like at least one of your bullet connectors is not handling the current, which is why its getting hot.

The only stock bullet connectors on the Mamba Max are the motor wires, what Deans connector can be used for motor wires??????

At this point in time the Mamba Max esc wont work with the novak motor. If you go with a Novak esc I dont believe it will work with more then 6 cells.

I race my xxx-t with a mamba system in it, and dont notice any cogging. The only time i have ever experienced any cogging was with bad batteries.

yes it comes with a servo saver. I have never broken anything as far as steering assembly components go.

i have a mamba max in mine. currently the 7700 motor. You can get some aluminum upgrades for it, but that about it.

Im currently trying out the 4600, I also run the 5700, and tried the 7700. The track where i run has a lot of tight turns and really big jumps. On the 2 straightaways, I am never able to get more...

they are the same i believe. mf2 being graphite is the only difference i know of.

sorry but i couldnt find anything that mentioned the gears were cheap ( as in poorly made cheap). It was mentioned that they are cheap to buy. So please read carefully about what is being said...
