Mine has an "OLD" US 41 with a spring starter. Needed the extra weight for balance. Fits fine. I fly around at half throttle most of the time.

Fuji 64 cuts out in midrange

I have a Fuji 64 on magneto that cuts out in the midrange. Starts easily, idles great, good top end, but it cuts out (badly) in the midrange.
New tank, fuel lines, clunk, spark plug, spark plug...

I'm rebuilding a nicely built one of these that was CRUSHED by FED EX. The plans show the spread of the top of the V of the cabanes to be 19", which puts the edge of the cabane touching the inside...

Can't wait to see those new planes. I've got a Ziroli P38 I picked up at Toledo last year, not to mention the Top Flite P47 & Corsair waiting. I can't seem to get anything new started and am lucky...

Sorry. I had my still camera in my hand, but I was so transfixed watching the Corsair I neglected to get any plictures. It was a very impressive plane.
