Thanks for that, I think the C of G is a little to far forward (will have to move the engine mounts back an inch), and the design of the boat makes it a little top heavy.

Rolling into turns!

Hi, does any one have any advice?
My Deep V .60 B class surface drive boat rolls into turn which is a bit of an issue.
The water line comes right up to the hatch cover and nearly flips it right...

Sorted it out at last, weight shifted back and a Possi turn rudder mounted to the transum instead of the conventional submerged one. The prop now looks to far forward but it works well.

Does any one know what the easiest way is to record max revs from a nitro boat, is there an off the shelf, cheap box of tricks with a magnetic pick up kind of thing that gives a digital display????

I have a few different nitro boats that I've built from bought hulls but, I am thinking of building my own hull from scratch, my brother can look after the molds and fiberglass as he is a marine...

I have built a Dateline marine Cheroke Chief using my Irvine .20 with submerged drive to try and keep things cheap and simple LOL.

The thing is, it won't turn right!!!!!! ...
