RE: Question about 624 receiver plugs..........

Thanks Alan. I am using JR/Hitec which is what prompted my question. They fit very comfortably either way, no force required. From your link it appears that signal wire is adjacent to label...

mixer offset for 8103..........

My 8103 manual, at least five years old, is about as clear as melted chocolate ice cream on what mixer offset actually does. "The purpose of the mixing offset is to redefine the neutral position of...

RE: RC Universe abreviations, terms and acronyms list

Hi Wayne:

I think the example you give is accurate for nicads. Certainly what we have all done for years with them with our wall wart chargers. Do not know whether it is also true for other...

RE: RC Universe abreviations, terms and acronyms list

Hi Wayne:

Exactly the same for charging: 1000 ma (note ma, not mah!) charge rate for 1 hour = 1000mah stored charge, assuming the battery capacity is great enough to store that much charge. ...

RE: RC Universe abreviations, terms and acronyms list

Hi Wayne:

Minor nitpick: mah is milliamps TIMES hours, not per hour. Measures total charge. eg, a 1000 mah battery can deliver 1000 milliamps (or one amp) of current for a total ONE hour. A...

Do a search on my name to find what I went through with that engine. Symptoms similar to yours. It finally runs fine. The bottom line is that on mine the carburetor body did not have proper...

Does anyone have a recommended method to use Kevlar thread to give a rotational stiffening to the tips of built up wings? I refer to wings that do not use leading and trailing edge sheeting. TIA

RE: Not Happy with Lanier Razor 3D

You slant the firewall to get right thrust. Then, you must move the enging mount to the left of the firewall to get the thrust washer of the engine at the center of the fuselage. Your other...

Saito 100 vibration

Vibration on mine was worst at 5-6000 rpm, where the plane sounded like a buzzer with the shaking of the monokote. Wouldn't idle right but was a great at full throttle. My theory is that the leak...

Well, by changing the carb on mine, the engine went from one with intolerable vibration to a very smooth one. Not as smooth as a .91, but very acceptable vibration. Problem in mine was that the...

3D props Saito 100

with 15% magnum my Saito 100 turns 10,300 with the 15 x 4 and 9,300 with the 16 x 4. Seems to be a slight edge on thrust for the 15 x 4 but I don't really like the rpm to go over 10k.
