RE: New Tee Dee .020 Crankshaft Wanted

TD .020 crankshafts are extremely hard to come by. Best bet is another used engine and keep what you have for parts.

RE: Strato-Bug! Here's what they look like...

I don't think there is much hiding prices any more as you can search ebay for recent auctions. Sometimes local sales can yield real deals if the seller is uninformed.

Here is what a yellow one fetched not long ago.

Picco 80 FIRE

Looking to get a ballpark value on a Picco 80 FIRE aero engine with a header and tuned pipe. Not much info out there other than they were good engines and were from the 80's.

This one is in good...

RE: TD 049 Carb Body

I used a red one on a TD 051. The fit is tight and needed a wood block and a small hammer to get it on all the way. Not sure if it will ever come off. I used a thin film of high temp red RTV to seal...

RE: .049 medallion throttle exhaust

I believe that the SPI cylinder is your problem. Instead of pulling in fresh air you are pulling in exhaust gas. SPI and exhaust restriction type throttling do not work. Put a sure start cylinder on...

RE: Thread size on OS 10 needle valve assembly

I ran into this problem with a OS MAX 19 steel fin that was missing the NVA. I bought a OS10 NVA and could not find the thread size. I found that a 6-48 gun tap was a close fit. It is a little tight...

RE: Cox Olympic 15 Rear Rotary

I got it on that big auction site for $760. With it being a prototype and the fact that the auction ended just before midnight CST it should have gone for more. I really didnt think I has a chance at...

RE: Golden Bee's Wild Ride!

Do you happen to know the wing area and the weight of the Chineese ARF.

Value Hobby has something with the same wingspan but the weight is 2 lb. Too heavy for an 049.

RE: Cox TD RC 050 pricing

I was watching that auction also. Seems prices on stuff like this before Xmas are inflated on feebay. If I had these to sell I would start the auction on Dec 10 and let the bidding begin:D

RE: VA 049 MK1

Larry,

Did these also come with different size venturi? I found a little bag that has a smaller ID venturi and 4 copper shims. The shims look to be for the piston timing.

RE: 09 throttle?

here is my version of a throttle on a cox td 09. It is a Tarno carb with a queen bee muffler. I had to turn the muffler base on my lathe for it to fit the 09 crank case base. I haven't run it yet.
