Really? I've seen youtube vids of guys running 3s. Just to clarify, 2s is 7.4v and 3s is 11.1v?

Maybe head down to your LHS and see if they have a nitro they are willing to let you drive for a bit to see if its your thing. No point spending $400 and finding out its not for you.

Well it may have even depended on if it was steering or throttle (if nitro). My 4 tec requires me to take the entire front half of the car off to access the servo to remove it.

D cells are only 1.5v. Maybe one of the rectangular 9v cells are better suited.
