RE: Stuck

Not really much of a question. Do I either save my money to buy a car I cannot support fully or do I spend a decent chunk of my cash on a new rc truck which will no doubt bring enjoyment but has no...

RE: 2 Failsafes? Yey or Ney?

Probably better having a single digital failsafe and a manual spring throttle return.

RE: LiPo batteries

It seems you use the 2s LiPos for the Warp 5700kv motor and 3s for something like a 4700kv.

Also, what does it mean when batteries are classed as 20C or 25C. Is that the discharge rate or...

RE: What do I want

Hmm I still think I'd go for the Firestorm Flux. What's somewhat annoying is that the cheapest shop is in NSW in Australia as opposed to Queensland where I am going. It is about $100AUD cheaper. What...

RE: What do I want

What about the Firestorm Flux? Reason being it's already Brushless out the box and a bit cheaper than Slash + VXL. Or can anyone recommend a decent Brushless ESC and motor that can be used with the...

RE: Want to move from electric to Nitro

Maybe head down to your LHS and see if they have a nitro they are willing to let you drive for a bit to see if its your thing. No point spending $400 and finding out its not for you.

RE: What is an 'honest' settlement for this situation?

Yeah I wouldn't expect for a glow igniter to be included as RTR vehicles never come with them.

RE: How do you install a futaba s3003 servo in stampede?

Well it may have even depended on if it was steering or throttle (if nitro). My 4 tec requires me to take the entire front half of the car off to access the servo to remove it.

RE: Trying to break it in without breaking it...

Slow turning might simply be because you are using 4.8v alkaline batteries. I upgraded to a 6v nimh hump pack and the difference is so clear. Turning is now quick. How big is the gap in the carb when...

RE: making lights from scratch

D cells are only 1.5v. Maybe one of the rectangular 9v cells are better suited.
