As far as the bleeding goes always carry a couple "ZIP TIES' to control the bleeding. Small ones for fingers and industrial size for the femural arteries. I have had worse accidents in the shop...

I think it is Jomar...But NO you can not. You can use 2 -5 cell packs or 2-4 cell packs.

But you don't even have to use a battery back up. You can plug 2 switches- 2 batteries into a Y harness...
