RE: Canard Stick Plans

I still get about a dozen emails a year over this thread, as well as the other plans that I've scanned. I've since moved into combat planes, cars, submarines, and back to planes, and cars again. ...

RE: Canard Stick Plans

PM me your email address, and I send you the plans FREE OF CHARGE! Just take them to one of the local blueprint or large format commercial printers (Kinkos still has some large format) and you're...

RE: Canard Stick Plans

I still have the plans for this if anyone is interested. Funny that it's been posted here for almost 4 years! I still get about half a dozen requests EACH for plans for all the stuff that I have...

RE: P-47 cowl

You can. Carve one out of foam and cover it with some fiberglass and epoxy resin, then dig the foam out. Really, it's that easy. Use light cloth, and make the carving a little longer than you...

RE: Rookie Combat - just for fun

The supplied A3 works well, so start with it, but tune as appropriate for elevation and nitro %. I have yet to have an OS .15LA that didn't tach well above 17,500 with the 8x3 combat prop with 15%...

RE: Rookie Combat - just for fun

About the only thing you can do is try it and see if it works for you. Just be careful about putting the pivot point too far back, or you'll end up nosing over anyway. That's sorta the point of the...

RE: Rookie Combat - just for fun

You'dd be better served putting some sort of "fin" under the CG extending forward to keep the motor off of the ground. Plenty of the HPDE fuselage designs use them, or have them built into the bulk...

RE: Rookie Combat - just for fun

Yes, that's the engine. Supposed to be a powerhouse. IIRC, it's an adaptation of their buggy engine. If you look closely, Tower has it stashed away in the large 4 stroke engine section!

The...

RE: Fire wall?

One small bottle of black Dope and some acid brushes will do dozens of firewalls and wing rubber band dowels.

RE: JK Aerotech Planes

Danger, Will Robinson, DANGER!!!

The JKA planes are dead nuts tough, quick to build, and easy to repair. Their web page has tons of great ideas on assembly and finishing. We're using bamboo...

RE: Top Flite Holy Smoke .40 plans, want 'em?

OK, I have scans in hand.

Went to a new service yesterday. $4.95 to scan. Cool. $10 to burn it to a CD, load to their FTP server for 30 days, or put it on my memory stick. Not cool. Since...

RE: Top Flite Holy Smoke .40 plans, want 'em?

Have you ever had one of those days?

I went to the blueprint service that I've been using. Outstanding quality, and I always work off of copied plans, not my originals. Today I get 2 copies...

RE: Top Flite Holy Smoke .40 plans, want 'em?

Hi guys. I'm still on this. Sorry that it's taken so long. I took 3 weeks off of work (first time in 2 years to take any vacation==active duty Navy) to take care of some family maatters and it's...

RE: Top Flite Holy Smoke .40 plans, want 'em?

OK, have gotten about 1/2 dozen emails. I just got back from Washington DC, will get the scans finished and out soon. The plans DO NOT show all the ribs and formers, so I traced around the die cut...

RE: Large format copier accuracy?

WOW, guess I've been getting lucky with Kinkos. I have used their machines to scan TIFF files (for which they're kind enough not to charge me) and I convert them into PDF as well at home (Kinkos...

Top Flite Holy Smoke .40 plans, want 'em?

I just got a 1985 Top Flite Holy Smoke .40, complete kit. Stole it off of Ebay for under $40. It has the plans and instruction book. I'm going out of town for a long weekend, but I'll scan them...

Took the last week off from work, this one, too, and next week!

Here is the third Canard Stick I've built. 2nd went together and got "procured" by one of my flying buddies that I didn't even...

RE: Need Bipe Stik Manual, Please

Thanks for the scans of the instructions and the...

Need Bipe Stik Manual, Please

Anyone have a manual for Das Bipe Stik? I have the plans, and a nearly completed plane. I really just need to know the control throws, but I'd be much happier with a full copy of the manual, as I'm...
