RE: Traxxas or Crapxas (lol?)

Caseyddr, I do not see your point at all if you even have one, other than discouraging somebody new to the hobby (me) to try out different brands of RCs to see which one he likes better himself...

RE: Traxxas or Crapxas (lol?)

I am pretty sure that I did not infer anything about my RC experience by saying that. I meant that they are good for entry level hobbyists. And, anyway, even if I was not that experienced in RC...

RE: nitro -> electric ?

RE: Traxxas or Crapxas (lol?)

Wow, some of you guys let one little post get you riled up way too easily. I understand that I can't judge an entire company based on just one of their RCs... this is more of a just for fun test to...

Traxxas or Crapxas (lol?)

NOTE BEFORE READING: The point of this thread/project is to prove some degree of quality in the Traxxas products. I believe that there are much better options than Traxxas out there, but for the...

RE: nitro -> electric ?

I'm not sure if you could pull wheelies off the rustler stock.. I'd say theres a chance, but not really sure. You'd probably have to gear it down (pinion) a notch or two with nimhs. If you get a 3s...

RE: i want a gas truck

I know, not saying that it shouldn't be stopped, but I have seen many tracks near me label nitro classes as gas.

This is an interesting thread, we are all going on about something and the OP...

RE: Team Associated SC10

Yea it most definitely will be electric, I doubt they will make a nitro version. Good to hear of somebody else jumping on the CORR bandwagon, though. They interest me a bit.

Oh and if it is...

RE: 1/10 scale Bigblock st choices

Yea you may just want to go with a Jato if you want an ST... I mean, the Jato is the only nitro car on the market really insane enough to put speed above everything else, so I don't see why a big...

RE: ........Traxxas or Cen Racing?

Can't go wrong with a savage :D

Oh and does anybody know why Cen Racing's website alerts my phishing filter in Firefox LOL? I'm assuming it is something as simple as they got attacked recently,...

RE: 1/10 scale Bigblock st choices

I saw a thread devoted to big blocks in 1/10 on-road cars on one of the forums I frequent.. not sure which one, I think it was rcnitrotalk.com not sure (it might even be this one lol). Anyway, a lot...

RE: "I am addicted to nitro...help me convert!"

Thanks for the correction, fusebmx. I was just mainly pointing out the misconception that full integy aluminum > full stock plastic. I understand it has its uses.

RE: "I am addicted to nitro...help me convert!"

SRG - okay, well just get a firestorm flux and when you want to race, you can get it ready. And.. it is pretty widely known that aluminum is not good at all to put in an RC. Not only is it very...

RE: "I am addicted to nitro...help me convert!"

Hmm well you say you want a racing RC for under $400. If you are racing with no roar regulations, etc. then this should be ok. But if you are looking to compete in a regulated class, I doubt you...

RE: Orion 3800 Lipo Runtime

Hey, actually I'm not exactly sure if I can charge between qualifiers. I'm sure I can.. I'm completely new to racing, so I may have misunderstood that. But if so that would make it much easier!

Orion 3800 Lipo Runtime

Hey, just wondering the general runtime of a Orion 3800 2s lipo 30c. I was thinking in the range of 20-30 mins. Is this an accurate assumption?

Mainly I'm wondering if I would need more MAH if...

RE: Getting into RC, need advice

The MGT and GT2 are completely different vehicles. The MGT is a monster truck, 4wd, big, 1/8 scale. The GT2 is a stadium truck, 2wd, small-er, 1/10 scale. If you want to get into racing, both 1/8...

RE: Problem with Jato 3.3

That does not sound good LOL. Rx = reciever (the thingy on your RC that the batts and servos plug into, that gets response from the transmitter (or tx)).

RE: nitro -> electric ?

Hey just a quick pointer that it would not be a stretch to find a brushless rig + batts used for around $300 on classifieds. Just keep checking! I saw a used rc10t4 for $225 with brushless and...
