yeahm 7700 is onroad only, i would recomend a 5700kv max for the bandit, if you run offroad. the mm pro with a 4600 motor would be a sweet combo, or the sw4600 as a budget choice, also heard good...

if the nimh are a decent set, then they will be worth it, just cycle them a few times and they should be right as rain, if they are a cheaper pack, they will still work, but im not sure it would be...

yeah redvan, i dont see the apeall in speed running, my rusty can go plenty fast enough when i want, but i rarely fully unwind it, i prefer to hoon round, jumps, stuff like that. its really a case of...

the end of the motor wont have holes cut into is for cooling, in general the motor is pretty much watertight. another solution could be to get some sealed bearings for the motor, not sure what size...

sounds good, not sur eon gearing for that car, but that esc, assuming it takes 4s, will be good for speed run, along wiht that motor. if the esc is held in proprly, so it doesnt fly out, it will take...

i went 32 pitch because the teeth are bigger than 48, but yes, smaller teeth do strip more easily, but also turn more smoothly, hence are used.

i was running on the school oval, not a golf...

oh i beg to differ :P i was running 31/76, then changed to 32 pitch gears, and now run at 21/54 with a 3s lipo, that equals a gearing of 30/76, and i run this gearing on grass ovals without heat...

plus the pede is a single battery, the maxx has 2, so thats a fair bit right there... maxx wheels are bigger.. whole lotta reasons for the weight difference.

yeah, garage tools ftw!!!

uprights are either cast into the bottom (it was a channel, so a U shaped bit of aluminium) or bolted onto the other upright bits, so its not going aywhere :D used...

no, the answer is a flat, dead, no. a brushless motor has maxmum torque at zero rpm, this drops slightly (very small amount) when running due to resistance. while the motor, if given the same amps...

yup, designed and made it myself, and its not cnc cut, its all done with a dremel, angle grinder, and sandpaper, lol... got the flm tranny, and wide mod up front, plus ive since broken the camber...

the tech is 3 or 4 years old, and don't trust everything that maxamps claims... they are only "green" because they don't have the tiny amount cobalt in them, charging at 15c from the start will...
