I took the that little plastic steering stop off of mine, it does seem to have a tighter turning radius now. Also I would get the 17mm hubs for it.

Actually that really isn't an issue. The T4 is a very balanced truck, I've had mine and several other T4's on a scale board and they all came out very balanced even with whatever you plane to use...

I own a T4, and it is a very durable truck, and yeah 4 feet will be no problem, I race on a track meant for 1/8th scales and my truck gets plenty of air. But as for hop-ups stay away from aluminum...

I have used an m8 and honestly the Dx3r is a more comfortable radio to hold, you can adjust the grip size,and move the wheel around, unlike the m8/m11. And I'm pretty sure the Dx3r has the same...
