RE: How are you guys weighing your birds?

You could weigh each wheel separately and then add them up. So for ex: put the scale under the left main wheel and record the reading. Put it under the right one and record. Put it under the...

RE: New ZDZ-80

My fuel barely makes it out of the tank. It doesn't make it up to the carb at all. Can you explain more about pushing the diaphram? Is it enough just to do it once before trying to start or ??? Thanks

RE: New ZDZ-80

I forgot to mention that I did put a new repair kit in the carb. Gaskets, diaphram, needle valve, etc...I was thinking that maybe I put something in the wrong way but I did double check everything...

RE: New ZDZ-80

Why would gas not make it's way up to the carb on this motor? I have a Walbro carb on it (and it's actually the older zdz-80) but when I flip gas doesn't come up to the carb in any choke/throttle...

RE: New ZDZ-80

That really stinks. Especially that it's a new motor. I have a ZDZ as well but it's not the super. Mine has the Walbro WJ 38a and I've never had problems starting it. It always starts on queue. I do...

RE: Official Rustler Thread

Hey guys. Here's a video dedicated to the Rustler. Boy it came out crappy quality on youtube. I'm used to watching it high res on my computer.

RE: Ultra R/C Giles 202 UL 29%

Where do you guys get your carbon fiber tubes to replace the landing gear when it breaks? I can't find one that's big enough. Midwest Products' biggest tube is .210 x .132 and I need something very...

RE: Official Rustler Thread

Well I just learned that all aftermarket shocks come with no oil in them. I guess it makes sense if you really think about it.

RE: Official Rustler Thread

They don't come with oil in them? [sm=50_50.gif]. That's interesting.

RE: What Shocks for the EMaxx 3906?

So from what I understand nobody else makes shocks specifically for this car? (Rustler VXL in my case) You just have to buy some made for other cars that just fit this one?

RE: Official Rustler Thread

The rod on the Integy shocks doesn't even come back out after you compress it. Did yours do the same? It looks like it comes back out only about 1/4 of the length and then the rest is very slowly....

RE: Official Rustler Thread

What's the best choices for aftermarket shocks to get for the Rustler? I started reading the thread for a few pages but didn't find anything and it's way too long to go through it all.

RE: HOW TO LIGHTEN E-MAXX

Do you mean on a race track or overall? Which one do you think is better for off roading?

RE: What Shocks for the EMaxx 3906?

My stock ones came apart at least 4 times the two times I drove it. Well I do have a Rustler VXL not the E-Maxx but i doubt they're that much different.

RE: What Shocks for the EMaxx 3906?

So how bad are those Integy shocks? Worse than stock? Same, Just a little bit better? Are they worth $30 over the stock ones? Other ones seem to be a lot more expensive.

RE: O.S 1.60FX Owners. Post your tach readings

I don't see why not especially if that's all you got. As for spinner just use one that fits the size of the plane. So what if the prop is so small at the hub. It doesn't matter.

If you want a...

Different Versions 5955 For Same Surface?

What are the differences between version 6.9 and 7.10 on the 5955 TG? Can I use them both on the same surface or does one need to be updated?

RE: HFP-10 Programmer Upgrade Program?

So the HFP-10 won't work at all with the new 7 series servos? Not even to program end points and center?

RE: Ultra R/C Giles 202 UL 29%

From experience I found out that the best landing gear setup (at least for me) is a beefed up block or landing gear support with aluminum gear. I really like this setup because it can stand pretty...

RE: Ultra R/C Giles 202 UL 29%

Hey GP. Do you by any chance have pics of the breakage? Was the breakage at the bottom of the fuse only or did it also happen at the top of the landing gear tubes as well? I just want to know where...

RE: Ultra R/C Giles 202 UL 29%

I have a question about moving the wing back and forth. Does it affect flight characteristics in any way assuming the CG stays the same? I mean doesn't that change the tail moment (or "fuse length")?...

RE: Ultra R/C Giles 202 UL 29%

I think the cracks are more common because of the people that complained about those tubes splitting, the fact they are very hard to see, and they appear to come from when the holes were drilled....
