you need a pitch guage, even a simple one. Also, the dx6i settings may be on this thread. Do a search with the thread search at the bottom of this page and check the radio settings for the pitch as...

The esc's have a thermal soft cut off when they get overheated.

you said you turned the radio OFF. Very dangerous...you must always have the radio on first and it is the last thing you unplug. The helicopter will be looking for a signal and freak out like yours...

yes and during your intial FF you can always recover making sure you get it back to tail in.

did you request that you didn't want your heli tested so it would ship faster? i would think you would want it tested first but i could be wrong.

I always just charge on an esky balancer/charger. It is .8A but it works great and is cheap too.

if you are stock, move the lock/unlock switch to unlock and turn the black knob on the front of the radio a little CC. It doesn' t take a lot. Its best to turn it CC until the red light goes off then...
