RE: Parkzone Vapor breakage

It's really a pretty durable little plane. The biggest problem I have had is the cellophane like wing material breaking away from the frame, but I have just used scotch tape to secure it back to the...

RE: Help-Need smallest , slowest RC indoor plane !

My vote is for the Vapor as well. Absolutely the slowest most controllable indoor plane for the money has been my experience.;)

RE: NEW! E-Flite Blade Micro CX

You're right on that one. These look similar to the servos used on the vapor and ember, and I've had terrible luck with them. Horizon will replace them, but they will crap out on you faster than...

RE: New Kyosho Minium Cherokee coming out in Nov

These are going to be very hard to resist. I'm thinking I will probably cave in!:D

RE: Parkzone Cessna 210 centurion

Servos are definitely the weak spot in these little planes, but the company seems to be pretty good about replacing them.

RE: Parkzone Ember Died

Just an update. I've got about 10 battery recharge flights on the Citabria thus far, and everything is working great so far. I have lubed the motor gearcase and the servos once again in this time...

RE: Parkzone Ember Died

Thanks, BigShrimpah for all your words of wisdom and encouragement. These little airplanes are just way too cool to walk away from. I took the Ember back to the Hobbyshop today and exchanged it. ...

RE: Parkzone Ember Died

Thanks for the info, BigShrimpah
You know, I kind of wondered if maybe lubing the servo might help, but I was afraid to try it for fear it would void the warranty. I'll tell you, I like the little...

RE: Parkzone Ember Died

Well, I'm three for three. My replacement/replacement Ember has malfunctioned on me also. Another rudder servo problem. It will intermittently just lock up causing a spiral dive and crash. The...

RE: Parkzone Ember Died

Thanks for the input, J-MICHAEL. Actually, I already have a Vapor, and you are right, they are a super cool little plane. I just really also liked the Ember that I had as well. This afternoon I...

RE: Parkzone Ember Died

Well, some people are just plain unlucky. I got my replacement Ember from Horizon Hobby today. Charged the battery and got the little guy ready to go. Everything seemed to work ok until I checked...

Parkzone Ember Died

Have a Parkzone Ember that I have owned only 4 days. Been flying the heck out of it outdoors as winds have been unusually calm. Was having a blast until all of a sudden I lost directional control. ...

RE: parkzone vapor ?

I have both, and I actually prefer the ember. However, I try to fly mine outdoors as much as possible. I think that the vapor flies better at slow speeds which can be a positive for indoor flight...

RE: Vapor Charger mod?

I'm currently using re-chargeable batteries in mine. My biggest complaint is that I wish the charger would have a green light to indicate that the battery is fully charged rather than having to time...

RE: Parkzone Ember repairs

That's exactly what I did. Bought vapor first and went back for the ember. Both are really cool little planes, but I prefer the ember, especially for outdoors.

RE: what is better for a beginner???

The absolute best money I spent learning to fly R/C was on a flight simulator for the pc. You can crash over and over and over on a simulator and it doesn't cost you a dime other than the initial...

RE: Parkzone Ember

This is getting to be a disease. I bought a vapor about a week ago, and have been flying it in the garage. I tore the wing material away a couple of times, but some careful scotch taping and I was...

RE: parkzone vapor ?

As stated by most previous posters, I really love the one that I got several days ago. Like to fly it in the back yard when no wind permits. The battery that came with mine was defective and would...

RE: ParkZone Vapor RTF/BNF

I bought a new vapor several days ago. I've been flying it in the garage most of the time as winds here in Iowa are normally too stiff for a little guy like the vapor. However, we've had a couple...
