I myself took the bolts out of the mounts, the ones the bolt thru the rails.
I then had little clamps that I used to hold the motor and mounts in place where...

I really have no idea.
It scoots along pretty good, but no where as a fast a Zenoah.
It also has a Walbro 157 carb on it.

I'm sure I could get it faster with more setup and carb adjustments....

I would second the copper sulfate suggestion, it worked in my parents little pond.

Do you mean to physically take them off and move them up, or to adjust them to more of an upward angle.
