yes, u have to reshape the end of the pipe plug. but it works well, no real problem with the dissimilar metals.. after all, the glowplug is a dissimilar metal itself!

I thought about that too,, what has helped the most so far is the better belt from the sewing shop, because it gives me much better contact patch, and also it rides out further on the pulley and...

thanks for the replies... I have been backing the glow plug off as suggested, and that's how I wound up stripping the head.... posted in another thread...
I got it fixed by tapping it to 1/8 pipe,...

OK, I finally got it wet!!! of course I got wet too!!!! had to wade after it in very cold muddy water.... motor was lean and died..... ran a x450 octura to start with, and was not enough prop......

I have an OPS 60 I am trying to get going, and noticed it has the carb in front, and exhaust out the back.. the carb just has a barb on it for fuel line.. I am thinking I am going to need a remote...

"If you read the Cal Mod, there is a 4-40 pressure tap placed on the engine mounting lugs. That supplies the needed fuel pressure.. Just don't use a metal tank as they can't take the "crank"...

I would say get at least 2 of each!!! Gas is easier to start, and cheaper on fuel.. and the boats will usually run in rough water better because of their size.. but nitro is a blast!! the electric...

but since the exhaust is opened up, and the exhaust line to pressure the tank is stock, wouldn't that cause a lack of fuel pressure?
