I think there is no power to the bus feeding the TM1000 while binding is happening so this overcomes that :)

With respect my experience is "KEEP THE TM1000 Antenna WELL CLEAR of your receivers.

I went to a jet meet with my shiny new TM1000 fitted and didn't notice the antenna had folded...

The new release of the DX18 Firmware (1.04C) says there is "improved RF performance".

Can you give us a bit more information - what exactly does that mean?

I use Savox on all my jets now - F16 1/8, ViperJet, F15 and am really happy with them.

As Dave says you move the sticks slowly:)

With JR radios you can always slow the servo speed...

Great idea regarding the vacuum. Put some tygon on and sucked till the tank just started to move inwards, then clamped the pipes.

Tank still indented slightly, so looks like the hole has gone....
