RE: Who says a .21 isnt enough for a Truggy !!!

I have to agree with this statement. I find the tracks here in Florida are very stop, point, shoot technical with very little give for any bottom end softness at all. Not saying your mods are...

RE: Building the MBX-6

I have no idea what issues you ran into. I have had to do none of those mods you mentioned. Only steering issue is that the inner tierod ballends need to be trimmed about 2-2.5 mm of the threaded...

RE: Torn Between 3

808 is not the best buggy on the market. It has good parts quality, but I find it to be the same as Mugen and Kyosho.

RE: Mugen MBX6 review in RC Car magzine

I gotta weigh my MBX6. At first it felt light, but after the final build, it didn't feel as light as I thought.

RE: OS Speed .21 Al vs OS Speed .21 magnesium

The AL Speed is cheaper so everyone uses it instead of the MAG. Plus LHS order AL also just because of the price. The Speeds run cool enough that the AL or MAG work fine.

RE: OS Speed .21 Al vs OS Speed .21 magnesium

Price and weight. MAG is lighter on the top of engine and the AL cost less. I personally have tuned both and they tune the same. I personally feel the MAG was more consistent than the AL, but are...

RE: MBX5 Pro Spec

I think I have some new & used parts for this buggy. I also have some new Racers edge shock towers front and rear that have the multi row shock mounting holes.

RE: BEST brake in for Axe Rossi Cobra X1 .21 HotMod

I recommend a new rod at 1.5 to 2.0 gallons. Maybe throw a ceramic back bearing while your in there. The Axe motor take a while to break-in.

RE: HOTBODIES D8 WINS WORLDS!!!!!

Hara car was not stock. He stated a different chassis, different rear shocks with some mods for extending the droop. Also had some lightened or Ti parts on it. As with most pros, they will alter or...

RE: novarossi engines

Novarossi, Axe Rossi, Sirio and GRP are all different companies, RB is french based tuning, but they source their materials and production from Sirio and Novarossi. GRP, Axe Rossi, Sirio, and...

RE: Difference Between Kyosho Inferno, SP2, and WC?

WC and SP2 are basically the same except the WC has added options like Acre brakes, "HARD" lower arms and rear wing ass'y, with a revised rear shock tower with some added shock bladded inserts. As...

RE: novarossi engines

The RB offroads are Novarossi based and the Speedline onroads appear to be Sirio based from all the researching I checked on.

RE: novarossi engines

I believe most favor the 35 Plus 21 for the bottom end power.

RE: comparing the kyosho turbo

Awesome! Now all we need is to widen the bumper a bit more, strap a Speed in it with a TCD front diff and its perfect for hacking people off the track, LOL! I wonder if Big Bores will fit!?!?

RE: concial and standard

Conical is generally the header. The conical will have a tapered tube shape, with it being smaller at the exhaust port and tapers to a larger diameter at the pipe side. Conicals generally offer more...

RE: Axe Rossi Mamba .21 Break-in

If you put a new rod, you run one tank on the starter box. Idle it with a few revs to worked it in, thats all. The rod takes a beating due to the tight pinch.

My next engine is try is the Mamba...

RE: Axe Rossi Mamba .21 Break-in

I can tell you this, my Mamba has about 1 1/4 gallons through it and it will run, but at about 260-275F, with a tight pinch. Thats with plenty of smoke out of the exhaust. The idle is fairly the same...

RE: comparing the kyosho turbo

Dude, I would fix it with what you have, and make it a shelf queen. If you keep running it, you will eventually break it and won't be able to find parts for it.

RE: Rossi Cobra X1 Evo

It should have two .20mm shims installed. Use Axe Rossi or Novarossi turbo plugs #5 or #6.

RE: novarossi engines

On the 367, the first series came with #7 glowplugs. Once they were run in, they could be hard to hold idle, so Novarossi changed the glowplug to a #6. Also, keep an eye on the rear bearing. They can...

RE: Specs of Lamberto Collari B3 ( LC21-B3 )

There is isn't much info left around on that engine, but it will most likely be similar to the Werks B3 engine (Sirio based)

RE: Got new engine bearings. Do I take off the rubber?

They should look clean. If they're not shiny and they don't feel smooth, then it needs replacing. Any pitting or rust on them, means they need to go. Just think, once its spinning, and the balls get...

RE: A little help from Mugen MBX5 owners

Just for the record, the picture on the right is a 3 deg anti-squat plate, not a toe plate.

RE: mini inferno 09 question

Yes, they feel like a bag of rocks when new. I actually spun mine in a drill to get them sort of loose, then cleaned out the white grease (was now a bit grey and the cleaning solution showed some...
