From the leads here I have found out that it is a Navy Mk-29 bomb release used on aircraft with under wing bomb racks. Used on many different types.

Thanks but this is a B-26 Marauder not a A-26 (later B-26B Invader) This is a great cause of mixup as the A-26 Invader became the B-26 after WWII
