RE: Stuka Stunt Forum

Thanks, Robert

I used a different browser and was able to access SS. I see it is a known problem, having to do with cookies.

Thanks again,

Norm

RE: From the inventor of the glow plug... my Arden .199 *pics*

The missing parts are available. Dan Sitter is one source. [email protected] Ask for his email catalog.

The good thing is the timing housing and prop screw/washer look intact and no plier...

RE: Longer Flight Time???

Dan Sitter recently listed the following parts. Not sure if there is all the bits to make the big tank, but you can ask him at: [email protected]. Also, I would ask if the mounting bolt pattern is...

RE: how do you mount your surestarts?

I remove the choke tube, but that also leaves you with a long unsupported needle valve. I shorten the needle and add fuel line in place of the needle spring for a better seal.

Actually, the...

RE: AP Wasp needle valve loose?

I think Jetpack has it covered. Unless it's a collet lock on the needle (it's not) I always put a short piece of fuel line (small or med. silicone) over exposed threads. Make it 3/32 - 1/8" longer...

This is my fav bladder info site. Check out the Perfect connector shut-off.

RE: Radial Cox backplate... progress!

Looks like a fun project.

As for the miss drilling, can you just plug the existing holes and drill another set 90deg. out?

I think it would be interesting to tap the backplate and use a...

OS Max .15 III Prop Shaft Thread

I have an OS Max .15 III (from the 50's) that needs a spinner nut (like a Higley nut). As far as I can tell, it is either a 5.5x0.8 MM or a #12x32 threaded shaft. Can you confirm the size? Are prop...

RE: One inch spinners

There is/was a stock Cox spinner adapter. Made of steel hex, 5/40 stud on one end and tapped 4/40 on the other. Maybe Coxmania on E Bay has some?

Been looking for 1" spinners! Thanks...

Hello-
A few of us from Los Angeles are hoping to get to the contest next month.

What is the chasing situation? Are there access roads we can drive a car on? My wife and I are going to make...

RE: New to Free Flight

Free Flight is pretty tough to do on your own. Luckily, people who fly free flight are a great group of folks that will go way out of their way to help someone who has an honest interest in the...

RE: Looking for a dirt cheap bang around soaring machine

I think the Multiplex "Easy" series, Easy Glider and Easy Star are exceptional first time R/C planes. They fly very well, not too expensive and are extremely abuse resistant. We use both on our club...

RE: extended runtime for cox .020

I doubt a PeeWee will go 2 mins. Didn't think of this in my first reply, but you should check and see if it is using all the fuel in the tank. Empty the tank and use a measured syringe to fill it....

RE: extended runtime for cox .020

First thing I would check is to see if the internal fuel pick-up tube is at the bottom of the tank. I think the normal set-up is to the right side for U/C use. You can check this without dismantling...

RE: Sure starts at my LHS

You're right about the needle support from the choke tube. I cut the needle shorter and used a piece of fuel tube instead of the spring.

As for the Dakota, mine is way overpowered and it is an...
