i bought a new plus from the LHS. its a O.S a5. the element and the threads are longer than the r5 that came with it. the a5 did not come with a washer. i think imma take it back

i've a savage 4.6. i took the glow plus out and lost the glow plug washer[:@]. i was wandering if it would be safe to run the truck until i get one or not

the factory setting are to rich for the truck to run. tightin the HSN all the way down then turn it counter-clockwise 3 full rounds. that should get you going.

3 guys with identical problems. i think i need to let hpi know that there needs to be improvisions to their break-in method. factory settings are way to rich for the truck to run and just flood it...

i had problems with my brakes also (our trucks have something in common) I tightened my servo screw all the way(it should be about 3/4 inch of threads showing) after that you just need to fine tune...
