RE: Omega II 1.8 e interference problem. HELP!

Ted,

I had similar problems this summer. I fly with an HiTec Optic 6 TX and Berg 7P RX. I know better than to suggest your problem was the same as mine, but after eliminating everything else...

RE: lost glider

Ed...

Thanks. Yes, I was asking about the Walston tx. Your info is helpful. Thanks.

I agree with you on the Sky King. I think 40 feet or so is about the max, but that rising and falling...

RE: lost glider

Ed,

I have a Sky King locator, but just had a miserable experience with a lost plane...one month in the weeds, but someone found it for me. I've been looking at the Walston equipment. I'd like...

RE: Tell us about your glider club or flying group

Ed,

We have an AMA charted club with about 20 or so members. It is almost exclusively gas/glo, but electrics are gaining some ground. I am the only sailplane pilot, mostly electric but...

RE: Resurrecting the Wanderer 99

Cleared,

No advice, but I think that's a great project. Good luck. It looks great just sitting there on the floor.

My first sailplane was a Mark's Models Windfree...a wonderful flying...

RE: Thermal Q's

Spiral...thought I would throw in a few cents worth <grin>.

I returned to RC last year after several years away and it's great. I fly electrics now but still have my trusty hi-start. Concerning...

RE: Art Hobby SKY-EV CG

Great news on the maiden flight, Coop! Your experience on the maiden flight was quite similar to mine...a good flight with minor tweaking.

I had my Sky 2.0 out today too. Some thermal activity...

RE: Art Hobby SKY-EV CG

Coop,

Sounds like that motor and other gear didn't weigh as much as you thought. You may have noticed, but your tail weight is only .2 oz more than mine. My Sky moved right out...be ready for a...

RE: Art Hobby SKY-EV CG

Coop,

I fly my Sky 2 EV with Art Hobby's recommended motor. I've looked at other motors like the Neu products. I am interested in how your plane performs. Are you using NiMH or LiPos? Just...

RE: Art Hobby SKY-EV CG

Hey Cap,

I fly both a Sky 2 EV and a Sky 1.7 electric with conventional tail. I had similar issues. I pushed the battery, ESC, and receiver as far back as possible. I fly with a 910 LiPo on the...

RE: Art Hobbies?

Yup Gunfighter, just like Bad Daddy said. They're still in business. If you need some advice, contact Andre at their site or by phone. He's excellent on customer support.

I fly two of their...
