SOLVED! Futaba FXT Stadium Truck. It is based on the Tamiya Stadium Blitzer.
He is needing the E Parts bag #9005362. It is available on ebay. Anyone know of another source?

I have the "manual" well, more like a piece of paper. I tried scanning it. But it did not turn out too well. You need to be adjusting the black screw. Screw it all the way in gently, then back it...

I will check to see what I have. I do know you need to make sure you are adjusting the right screw, there are two screws in there. You also need to be careful not to damage the spring by bottoming...

Those shims provide "mesh" for the ring and pinion. Hence my concern for "proper shimming".

I did take the front diff. apart and found the pinion gear is badly worn.

No binding, just skipping. I still have yet to take them apart. My concern is proper shimming. It seems that would be a real pain to get right.
