RE: Flyzone Beech Staggerwing

Took the plane out to fly again this morning. Winds at 0 mph. Flys great. Turns are not self correcting like a top wing trainer. You must apply opposite rudder to end turns. It could use a little...

Flyzone Beech Staggerwing

Took the chance to purchase a new plane without much reviews done. Assembly took about 2 hours. The connectors at the servos would not tighten properly so the were replaced with Dubro Mini E/Z. Set...

RE: flyzone diablo

I don't think it is the distance. The radio started to glitch about 200-300 feet out. I tried to gain some altitude to bring her back down. I still think there is some problem between the ESC and...

RE: flyzone diablo

Well. Sent my Tx and Rx off a month ago because they continued to glitched on the Diablo. Use my old Jr Sport in the meantime. Got the Tx and Rx back, installed them last night, went out this...

RE: flyzone diablo

Thanks. I was afraid of this. It would be nice if I can jsut buy the pod without the stock motor. Mine is glued in pretty good. I will probably distroy it trying to get it out.

RE: flyzone diablo

Had the same glitching problem with the Diablo radios. Sent them back to Hobbico and they are sending me a new receiver and transmitter, but the esc tested fine. I will probably just shelve their...

RE: flyzone diablo

After 12 flights with the Single Pod, I decided to fly the Diablo with the Dual Pod. Oh No. Bad news. The added thrust did not make up for the added weight. The plane was nice slow and flat with the...

RE: Hobbico diablo video

It looks good. It appears to fly just like mine. Others have complained that it would barely fly. I disagree. I replaced the radios after the 2nd flight because they were glitching. Solved the...

RE: flyzone diablo

This is my third RTF and the first time I have had a radio problem. I flew again today using my on radio (JR Sport) and the plane is fine.(The ESC even is more responsive) I have a feeling the stock...

RE: flyzone diablo

I called this AM and was told to send the transmitter and reciever back. I found the negative plug to the EDF very loose. I will try that first before sending off the equipment.

RE: flyzone diablo

I agree. The tips of the elevator and rudder are very thin and easily breakable. Not worth the $200(maybe $150), but is an eyecatcher flying. Just don't let them see the build quality up close. I...

RE: flyzone diablo

Don't forget to balance the plane. It lands very fast for a trainer????(Power Off) It is difficult to determine orientation if you have clould coverage. The gray blends in perfectly. I am planing to...

RE: flyzone diablo

I had to add exactly the same amount of weight (1/2 oz). My dual pod should be here in a few days. I like the plane. It drew a crowd at the local field and a alot of questions.

RE: flyzone diablo

Have you found a big speed difference with the dual pod? I had to add alot more than a few lead shot pellets to get it to balance. Every other RTF, I just threw it in the air and a little trim. The...

RE: flyzone diablo

Had to add some lead weight in order to get the plane to balance at the recomended point. I have 4 flights with the Diablo in 5mph wind. Very stable and slightly faster then my Super Cub. The radio...
