ASP .40 Excellent compression....

Hello, bought this and its to big for my plane,,, its an early version and the piston looks new,,, so i gave it the carb test in water and it leaks,,, i don't think this engine has an hour ...

Thats what i remember, i only replaced one ring in my life, it had a pin, i think it was a super tigre .61.... which would keep the ring in place,,,, my mind is slipping.... thank you..... ;)

Hello, does the piston ring move around as the engine is running, it seems i could see the end gap,,,, a while later i had the engine off and could not see the gap through the exhaust opening, any...

I found 2 .40 FSR 's in my box,,, i'm happy now,,, yes the carb looks really nice, i thought it was off a heli engine, but i was wrong,,,,, i think the only problem i had with these engines...

We hit 12 degrees, WOW,,,,, heat wave coming, maybe 40 on saturday,,, all this talk is making me dig through my engines,, i love it... :D this is off the subject but i can't get on engine...

I do have a few old Super Tigres,, ABC design,,, they feel like a Beast, i can see why they would last,,,, i have never run them, maybe this summer,,,, Its 3 degrees here this morning ...

Thanks guys for your help, that liner looks terrible, i do run good fuel with a castor blend, i never had that problem, but i'm easy on engines..... :D is this engine a FSR,,,, flyby50

Found an old thread on rcu, first letter is the year, second is the month,,,,,,, Y is 1994- Z is 1995, and so on,,,, A is january, b is febuary and so on, so a battery with DA...

Thanks for the reply, i'm still looking for the chart i had, it was easy to use but i can't find it,,,,, i bought a few packs and learned they were not fresh, terrible,,,

Hello, i had a list a while back,,, how to read the letters on the battery packs, it told you what year and month the battery was made,,,, can someone help me with this, thanks,,,
