Thanks for the tip on the motor mount from gobrushless.com I looked at them on the site & purchased two of them.
One for my existing Mini-Mag & one for the next Mini-Mag that I am going to build....

Yes, actually I have been flying it with a headsuprc 2409/12 motor. About 200 watts. Using also a 30a esc & a 3s, 1500mah lipo.
While it's not a speed demon, it flys vertically unlimited & gets...

Esky Nemo, CG question, nose dips

I have an Esky Nemo. The directions did not indicate a CG for this plane.
So I did the 1/3 balance with my finger tips back 1/3 from the leading
edge.

The plane does not have the best glide...

I have a Parkzone Citabria. That little plane has a lot of downward thrust on the prop.
Also the prop is turned pretty far to the right.

So how in the heck do you know how much angle, downward...

I took out the stock Multiplex brushed motor & I installed a Tower Pro 2408-21 brushless motor & esc I
purchased from headsuprc.com

I just happen to have this same motor in my Begin Air plane....

All Xtreme would have had to do was to make the cage bars a little
wider so they would not touch the balls when the head is tilted at an
angle. Very simple. Look at any good heli fly bar cage....

Ah, ran across a foot note on helidirect about the Xtreme fly bar.
It says that you can not use the cnc aluminum upper head with

Yes, I believe it is to be used with the plastic frame. I think it
would really help. They make them for the Trex 500. I'm
going to get one for my 500.
